She’s Had Her License Plate For 15 Years, But Now The State Is Saying It’s “Inappropriate”

Expressing oneself through vanity plates can be fun, but Wendy Auger faced rejection after 15 years due to her plate reading “PB4WEGO.” The New Hampshire resident, a bartender, was surprised by the DMV’s decision, viewing it as an infringement on her free speech rights. Auger defended her plate, saying,

“Who hasn’t said ‘pee before we go’ to kids before leaving the house?” Community support echoed New Hampshire’s motto, “Live Free Or Die,” resisting DMV interference. Auger humorously noted her car might “stink” without the plate.

She had pursued the plate for years, seizing the opportunity when character limits expanded. While the state cited specific rules, Auger believes discussing bodily functions is harmless and resists parting with her cherished plate.
