Charlie Kirk’s Wife, Erika, Publicly Speaks Out for the First Time Since Her Husband’s Death

For the first time since her husband’s tragic death, Erika Kirk spoke publicly about Charlie Kirk’s life and legacy. At a press briefing, she thanked first responders, investigators, and leaders who supported her, including Donald Trump and JD Vance. Fighting back tears, she said, “Mr. President, my husband loved you, and he knew that you loved him, too.”

Erika vowed to continue her husband’s mission through Turning Point USA: “Charlie, I promise I will never let your legacy die, baby. I promise I’ll make Turning Point USA the biggest thing that this nation has ever seen.” She also shared a tender moment with their daughter Gigi, who asked, “Where’s daddy?” Erika replied, “He’s on a work trip with Jesus so he can afford your blueberry budget.”

Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot at Utah Valley University. Days later, Vice President JD Vance escorted his casket to Arizona aboard Air Force Two. A viral video showed Usha Vance holding Erika’s hand as they deplaned, a gesture viewers called “so heartbreaking 💔” and “a very sweet” act of support.

The nation now grieves with Erika as she carries her husband’s legacy forward.
