Brazilian tattoo artist Diabao Praddo, formerly Michel, has taken his body modifications further by removing two more fingers from his left hand. The 50-year-old, known as the “Human Satan,” aims to achieve a claw-like, alien-inspired look.
Praddo has already amputated fingers on his right hand and undergone over 100 procedures, including tongue splitting, ear and nose removal, and even consuming one of his own nipples. With 85% of his body covered in tattoos, he also holds a Guinness World Record for having 33 subdermal horn implants on his head.
Despite health risks, he continues working as a tattoo artist. At first, he feared losing his career, but he adapted to his altered hands. He admits to phantom pain yet remains committed: “It’s a price I’m willing to pay.”
His wife, Carol Praddo—nicknamed the “Demon Woman”—has supported and supervised many of his surgeries. Their shared goal is for him to be recognized as the world’s most modified person.
For Praddo, the transformations are not about attention but about pursuing his vision of being “less human,” blending pain, devotion, and artistry into a lifelong project.
