The partner of a Utah man accused in a high-profile shooting has left their St. George condo and not returned. Neighbors noted “lights have stayed on for more than a week,” while mail and packages pile up, though Lance Twiggs’s car and belongings remain inside.
Twiggs, 22, a part-time plumber, was questioned after the arrest of Tyler Robinson, 22, who faces charges in the shooting. Authorities stressed there is “no evidence currently links him to the crime.”
An FBI source called Twiggs a “cooperating human source” and possibly a “significant and essential witness,” which could make him eligible for federal witness protection.
Residents described Twiggs and Robinson as private and reclusive. During police questioning, Twiggs was “calm and cooperative,” while agents searched the property with dogs and FBI support.
Prosecutors released texts suggesting Twiggs may have had limited knowledge of Robinson’s plans but “no active involvement.” His current whereabouts are unknown, leaving neighbors uneasy as investigators continue building the case against Robinson.
