Jennifer Robyn Bernard, Beloved General Hospital Actress, Found Dead in California

Jennifer Robyn Bernard, best known for playing Terry Brock on General Hospital, has died under mysterious circumstances. Her body was found alone in a San Jacinto, California home, and police confirmed her identity through fingerprints. Authorities said the “official cause of death is still pending,” as an autopsy by the Riverside County Coroner is underway.

Bernard appeared in 145 episodes between 1984 and 1990, earning admiration for her “nuanced, heartfelt acting.” She later starred as a psychologist in the 2002 indie film Voices from the High School, showing her range beyond daytime TV.

After stepping away from acting, she lived quietly but remained beloved by fans and colleagues. Her death comes shortly after the passing of Jackie Zeman, another General Hospital star, remembered as “the heart of the show.”

Bernard’s loss marks “the end of a meaningful chapter in the legacy of General Hospital.” Her talent and kindness left a lasting impression on those who worked with her.

Though she faded from Hollywood’s spotlight, her memory “continues to resonate,” a reminder of the human stories behind television’s golden era.
