Former President Donald Trump criticized TIME magazine for what he called the “worst” photo ever used of him on a cover. The image, taken from a low angle outdoors, shows Trump in his signature navy suit and red tie.
He complained that the photo “disappeared” his hair and made it look like “something floating on top of my head,” describing it as “super bad” and “deserved to be called out.” Despite his anger, Trump admitted the article itself was “relatively good.”
The issue featuring the photo coincided with Trump’s visit to Sharm el-Sheikh, where he helped with a peace declaration involving Gaza, Israel, and other nations.
Trump’s frustration with TIME isn’t new — he has appeared on the magazine’s cover multiple times and has often voiced dissatisfaction with how he was portrayed.
Known for his strong opinions on media portrayal, Trump’s reaction once again highlights his sensitivity to public image and how he believes the press treats him unfairly.
