American flags line Hendersonville’s Main Street in honor of veterans

Downtown Hendersonville celebrated Veterans Day with a patriotic display of American flags along Main Street, courtesy of the Rotary Club. Sponsored by community and club members, each miniature flag honored a chosen veteran.

The Rotary Club aims to continue this tradition for various holidays, such as Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Fourth of July, Flag Day, and Election Day. The initiative’s goal is to foster unity, hope, and patriotism among people from diverse backgrounds. A Rotary spokesperson expressed optimism about the displays serving as a unifying force for the community. The vibrant tribute aligns with the club’s commitment to honoring veterans and promoting a sense of collective pride.
