Berrisexuality is a newer micro-label for people attracted to all genders, but with a stronger and more frequent pull toward women, feminine, or androgynous people.

Attraction to men or masculine-aligned people still exists, but it’s usually weaker or less common. Many who relate to this say the imbalance has always been there, even if older labels didn’t express it well.

Some felt that terms like bisexual or pansexual were too broad and “flattened a complex inner landscape into something simpler than it really was.” For them, berrisexuality gives language to something they already sensed but couldn’t name.

Online, especially on Reddit and queer wikis, people describe relief at finding a word that fits. One person said, “Now I don’t have to pick, because berri fits like a glove.” Many feel seen in a way they hadn’t before.

No one is required to use micro-labels; they’re simply tools. But for those who long felt “not quite right” in existing categories, berrisexuality offers language that “honors” their nuance instead of flattening it.
