Three masked teenagers, Isaiah Reid, Brandon Gresham, and Jaime Hernandez, were fatally shot during an alleged attempted robbery in Rockdale County. Autopsy results, managed by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, are pending, according to Coroner George Levett.
Rockdale County Sheriff Eric Levett revealed the teens aimed to rob a homeowner and his family in the early hours. “When deputies arrived, they did find masks on the [faces of the deceased] young men,” he stated. The confrontation unfolded around 4 a.m. in Conyers.
One of the suspects, armed with a handgun, fired at the residents before the homeowner returned fire in self-defense. Reid and Hernandez, aged 16 and 15, were revealed to be brothers. The homeowner, yet to comment, awaits the ongoing investigation’s outcome to determine any potential charges.
