The Globe also reports that Kurt and his 71-year-old longtime partner Goldie Hawn have lately fought. Nevertheless, Kurt cannot go owing to an “unexpected medical situation.”
In a statement, the actor insisted that he required surgery, which, according to his doctor, obviously could not be postponed. According to The Oklahoman, he will have hip surgery. “I had assumed it could wait, but my doctors say it needs to happen in September.” Russell said, “As much as I would have liked to be there this year, I’m grateful that the museum decided to delay our honor so I could accept this magnificent prize.”
