Communists Crash Jason Aldean Concert, Burn American Flags

Country singer Jason Aldean’s hit, “Try That in a Small Town,” has stirred controversy, particularly among leftists. The song criticizes city crime and advocates for common-sense policing, resonating with conservatives. A new music video featuring riot footage propelled the song’s popularity, garnering 17 million YouTube views, 228,000 sales, and 11.7 million streams within a week.

Leftist opposition peaked when a “revolutionary communist” group called The Revcoms disrupted an Aldean concert, burning American flags. Despite police warnings, the group peacefully dispersed. The Revcoms labeled the song as “fascist” on social media.

Podcast host Joe Rogan dismissed the outrage, highlighting the racial aspect and criticizing the focus on Aldean’s song when more offensive songs, approved by the left, exist. He noted that during BLM protests, many involved in Antifa were “lost liberal Whites.”

In summary, Aldean’s song sparks political tension, with conservatives embracing it and leftists vehemently opposing its message.
