California inmate Jonathan Watson, 41, openly admitted to killing two convicted child molesters last month, stating he warned prison officials to no avail. In a letter to Mercury News, Watson revealed that after requesting urgent transfer due to his growing anger, he was moved to a lower-security dorm at Corcoran prison. Disturbed by a new inmate he referred to as “Molester #1” watching PBS Kids provocatively, Watson decided to take matters into his own hands. Despite alerting a counselor and receiving dismissal, Watson attacked Molester #1 and later, encountering “Molester #2,” proceeded to kill again. Watson confessed to a prison officer, expressing willingness to plead guilty if charged, emphasizing potential future violence if housed with child molesters. Serving a life sentence since 2009, no charges have been filed against Watson yet.
