This single guy raised 30 children and adopted three more; here’s how they all live now.

Buffalo resident Thomas Lamont, a devoted single father, has actively embraced adoption for 19 years, successfully raising 30 children. His family recently expanded with the adoption of five siblings under five years old, bringing the total to 12 children. Lamont emotionally welcomed the children into his home after a court approval. He emphasizes the effort to integrate the siblings, ensuring equality and love for all. Lamont began his single father journey in 2000, earning a foster parenting degree and not looking back since.

One adoptee, Michael, now 27, shares how Lamont’s home became his after growing up in the system. The family’s inclusive approach, treating everyone equally, left a lasting impact. Lamont briefly considered retiring, but upon learning that five siblings needed a home, he resumed, having known their father previously. Lamont’s commitment reflects his belief in answering God’s call for fathers to raise their children. Michael expresses gratitude, saying, “Without him, I would not be where I am today.”
