These 12 children proved once again that any child can be a hero!

In Surrey County, a group of children aged 6 to 12, known as “The Awesome Dozen,” showcased remarkable quick thinking during an egg hunt. Spotting a suspicious man evading the police, they cleverly directed law enforcement using a helicopter.

As the helicopter circled, the suspect sprinted past the kids, changing directions into a forest to escape. Realizing the situation, the children devised a plan. Two of them suggested, “Let’s make an arrow!” In seconds, all 12 kids lay down to form a large arrow pointing in the direction the suspect had taken.

Their simple yet effective gesture caught the attention of the helicopter crew, aiding law enforcement in the pursuit. The community and police department commended the children’s intelligence and prompt action, highlighting that even kids can be heroes.
