Barbra Streisand says she ‘can’t live in this country’ if this happens

Barbra Streisand, known for her critical stance against former President Trump, has once again voiced her strong opposition, vowing to leave the country if the Republican front-runner wins in 2024. The singer, labeling Trump as “so stupid” and “ill-informed,” previously sang “Don’t Lie to Me” in response to his actions. Streisand, 81, who once expressed hope in making America great again, now deems the country was fantastic before Trump’s election. Her 36th album, “Walls,” released in 2018, was inspired by Trump’s presidency. The Grammy-nominated artist expressed heartbreak over Trump’s assault on democracy, reflected in her song. Streisand’s memoir, “My Name is Barbra,” delves into the clash between politicians and artists, emphasizing her political engagement.
