A butcher seizes the gun, and the half-naked assailant makes a break for the door, where he’s apprehended by the man in the cowboy hat and two others. The store, Carnes Cares, posted the video, which garnered widespread attention. The hero in the cowboy hat, Reynaldo Cardenas, the store’s co-owner, acted out of fear, admitting he believed the man would shoot. Police arrived and arrested the attacker about ten minutes later.
