Man Who Lost Stepbrother Spots Soldiers At Chick-Fil-A, Decides To Teach Them A Lesson

In a touching gesture, Jonathan Full and his brother Stephen paid tribute to their late stepbrother, who battled severe PTSD after a Middle East tour. At a Chick-fil-A in Durham, the Fulls, with their kids, spotted two service members in uniform and decided to cover their meals. Jonathan, expressing his longstanding desire to support military members, shared, “It just hit me real good in my heart to do it then.” Unfazed by the possibility of more arriving, he declared, “I was still going to buy the meal.”

Stephen captured the moment, and Jonathan encouraged the service members, saying, “Save your money for something more than just feeding yourself.” Their 4-year-old son humorously reacted, “What are ya crazy!? There’s not going to be any food left!” The Fulls hope their story inspires others to perform similar acts of kindness. Chick-fil-A’s manager, Matt Rice, expressed gratitude, saying, “We really want to be the gathering place for North Durham.”
