Easy Wonton Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 30 wonton wrappers

Wonton Filling:

  • 8 oz ground pork
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 ½ tsp cornstarch

Broth:

  • 8 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 slices ginger (approx. 1/4″)
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, sliced

Instructions:

  1. Combine all filling ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Place 1 tsp filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Moisten, fold in half to form a triangle, and press the tips together.
  3. Dip the bottom in flour and place on a parchment-lined pan. Repeat.
  4. Bring broth ingredients to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes. Remove garlic and ginger.
  5. Add wontons and simmer for 4-6 minutes until pork is cooked. Serve.
