April Webster and Nathan Fishbourne became widely known in 2010 as the UK’s youngest parents when they had their son at just 14. Living in Caerphilly, South Wales, their story quickly drew attention and sparked debate. April became pregnant at 13, just before turning 14, and both families were initially shocked. She struggled to tell her parents, while Nathan later admitted they hadn’t used protection.
Despite the situation, their families chose support over rejection. Nathan’s father made it clear, saying, “There’s no way we’re going to abandon him.” April’s mother allowed her to make her own decision about the pregnancy. Their son, Jamie Fishbourne, was born by cesarean and needed early surgery for a rare condition, but recovered after time in the hospital.
In the early years, April focused fully on raising Jamie, even leaving school. She expressed deep love for her son, saying, “I’m going to give him everything he ever wants because he’s perfect.” She lived with her family for support, while Nathan stayed nearby with his own family. Over time, however, their relationship ended, and by 2014, they were no longer in contact.
As the years passed, both moved forward with their lives. April, now known as April Lianna, is 28 and has two more children, Ava and Rowan. She is in a stable relationship with Jake Jones. Nathan has also built a new path and got engaged to Samantha in 2023, focusing on his growing family.
Their story shows that early parenthood is difficult but not defining. With strong family support and determination, both were able to create stable lives. Despite their past, they have grown into responsible parents, proving that even challenging beginnings can lead to positive outcomes.
