Carrie Anne Fleming, known for her work in television and genre productions, has passed away at the age of 51. Her death was confirmed by her Jim Beaver co-star, with reports stating she died on February 26 in Sidney, British Columbia, due to **“complications from breast cancer.”**

Her family later shared that her passing was **“peaceful and surrounded by loved ones.”** They remembered her as **“kind, inspiring, and deeply valued”** by those who knew her, expressing gratitude for the impact she had on family, friends, and colleagues throughout her life.

Born on August 16, 1974, in Digby, Fleming spent much of her early life in British Columbia. Even through early family challenges, she remained focused on her creative goals. Before acting full-time, she worked briefly as a model in Vancouver, where her talent and natural screen presence quickly became clear.

Her acting career included early appearances in Viper and Happy Gilmore, which she later remembered with humor and humility. Her breakthrough came with Masters of Horror in 2005, helping establish her place in genre television. She later became widely recognized for her role as Karen Singer on Supernatural, where she brought warmth and emotional depth to the screen.

Fleming also appeared in iZombie and **“The Unauthorized Full House Story,”** while continuing theater performances in productions like **“Romeo and Juliet”** and **“Steel Magnolias.”** Colleagues remembered her as **“warm, dedicated, and uplifting.”** Her legacy lives on through the performances and memories she leaves behind.
