A mother returned home from work and was startled to find the family babysitter with wet hair after stepping out of the shower. The babysitter explained that one of the children had spilled milk on her while the kids were napping, so she took a quick shower. Even with the explanation, the mother felt uneasy, especially when her husband unexpectedly came home and defended the babysitter. Since he was supposed to be working the night shift, his behavior raised even more questions.

Unable to shake her suspicions, the next morning she secretly placed an old nanny camera in the living room before leaving for work. Soon after, she checked the footage and saw her husband, who was supposedly at work, returning home and spending time with the babysitter. He finally confessed that he had been fired a week earlier because of downsizing but had hidden the truth out of embarrassment. Rather than admit he had lost his job, he had been pretending to go to work while searching for new employment and helping care for the children.

He also explained that the babysitter’s shower was completely innocent. After the milk spill, he encouraged her to clean up while he watched the children. The wife realized she had misunderstood the situation, though she was still hurt that he had kept such an important secret.
