A Month Before A Heart Attack, Your Body Could Be Warning You With These 9 Signals

In recent years, scientists have discovered that heart attack symptoms often differ for women. A study in *Circulation* revealed that most women don’t report chest pain during a heart attack. Instead, they frequently mention symptoms like “unusual fatigue, sleep disturbances, and anxiety.” In fact, nearly 80% experienced at least one of these symptoms for over a month before their heart attack. Surprisingly, only 65% of women said they would call 911 if they suspected a heart attack.

### Key Symptoms to Watch For:

– **Sleep Disturbances**: Women may experience insomnia, restlessness, or waking up frequently before a heart attack.

– **Anxiety**: Some feel a sense of doom or overwhelming anxiety, signaling that something is wrong.

– **Lightheadedness & Shortness of Breath**: Dizziness or difficulty breathing can also be warning signs, even without chest pain.

– **Digestive Issues**: Nausea or vomiting, often mistaken for indigestion, can be a symptom.

– **Cold Sweats & Jaw Pain**: Clammy skin, sweating, or pain radiating to the jaw, shoulder, or back may occur, making heart attack symptoms in women more subtle.

If any of these signs feel unusual, seek emergency help immediately, and don’t hesitate to get a second opinion if needed.
