Missing 4-Year-Old Found Dead Inside Toy Chest

A 4-year-old boy, Kache Wallis, was found dead in a toy chest in Hurricane, Utah, after he went missing from his bed. The Utah Medical Examiner’s Office determined his cause of death as “positional asphyxiation.” Kache’s grandmother discovered he was missing and alerted the authorities, leading to an extensive search. Tragically, the boy’s lifeless body was found in his own bedroom inside the toy chest. The investigation revealed that Kache had climbed into the chest, unintentionally trapping himself, and died from asphyxiation. His death was ruled accidental. The Hurricane Police Department expressed condolences, and the community shared in the family’s grief.
