4 siblings killed in head-on crash with drunk driver while Christmas shopping – rest in peace

A tragic incident unfolded in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, as four siblings lost their lives in a head-on collision involving an alleged drunk driver. Daniel (26), Fabian (23), Lilian (14), and Daniela (9) Gonzalez were fatally struck while holiday shopping on December 16. The accused, 47-year-old Scott Farmer, reportedly drove his pickup truck intoxicated on the wrong side of the highway.

The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office revealed that three siblings died at the crash site, and the fourth succumbed to injuries at the hospital. Farmer faces charges, including four counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.

Expressing grief, stepfather Kurt Schilling lamented the loss, questioning how to explain to his wife the devastating reality. Despite community support, including two GoFundMe pages raising over $129,000 combined, the family grapples with the irreplaceable void left by the tragedy.
