6-Year-Old Was Holding Father’s Hand When He Was Struck By Lightning, Family Shares Tragic Update

In a tragic event in Valley Mills, Texas, Matthew Boggs, 34, and his six-year-old son, Grayson, fell victim to a lightning strike on May 15. Picking Grayson up from the school bus, Matthew expressed love to his son just moments before the fatal incident. Grayson fought for his life in critical condition for over a month, battling brain damage resulting from oxygen deprivation. Despite signs of improvement, doctors eventually conveyed that recovery was impossible. On June 16, Grayson passed away at 5 a.m.
